So here we have the first eight Cuirassiers .......not as quick as I hoped due to work and family commitments but not too bad. I picked up the other four horses at Phalanx so will complete this unit in the next few days.
Also I made a mistake in the last blog by stating that the 2nd Cuirassier regt was at Quatre-Bra, I had got this from the Osprey book on Napoleons Cuirassiers and Carabineers but checking other sources shows it was the 8th and 11th Regts that were at Quatre-Bra and as the 11th was not issued Cuirasses during the 100days I painted them as the 8th regt - hence the yellow facings.....
